OVERVIEW
The Enforcer is a 2022 crime-action thriller directed by Richard Hughes, starring Antonio Banderas and Kate Bosworth and set within Miami’s criminal underworld. Banderas plays Cuda, a veteran enforcer whose loyalty to a powerful crime boss is tested when he begins to confront the consequences of the violent world he has spent his life serving.
Filmed on location in Greece, the cinematography draws on the heat, colour and nocturnal energy of Miami, combining a grounded, character-driven approach with saturated, neon-infused night photography. The visual language balances naturalism with a heightened crime-thriller aesthetic, while keeping Cuda and his increasingly conflicted state of mind at the centre of the film.
