OVERVIEW
Created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery, Gangs of London throws you into a fractured criminal ecosystem where families, syndicates and “legitimate” interests collide in plain sight. Season 3 expands the scale while staying tightly anchored to character - decisions are made in whispers, then paid for loudly.
From a cinematography point of view, the aim is controlled intensity: bold contrast, strong colour separation, and a tactile sense of place that keeps the world feeling real even when the stakes are heightened. The camera language stays close to intent - compositions that hold pressure, negative space that suggests threat, and movement that only accelerates when the story forces it.
